Advertising FAQs

1. How do I place an ad at Pinoytunes.net?

Simply email info@pinoytunes.net and state your intent to advertise. A reply and welcome letter will be emailed to you. Subsequent email exchanges will be made with you until the finalization of the agreement and ad details are made.

2. How do I measure the exposure of my ad?

Your ad's exposure is measured by the number of times it is displayed onto a user's computer.

3. Are the rates of Pinoytunes fixed or according to CPM or cost per 1,000 impressions?

Since Pinoytunes is still a very young company only on its first year, the ads are not yet charged on the number of times the ad is displayed (or number of impressions) but is charged as a fixed package rate for a six- month minimum campaign period. The prices are very affordable and flexible compared to other similar new sites.

4. How can I track the exposure of my ad in Pinoytunes.net?

You may email Pinoytunes and request for a report from that states the number of visits and pageviews per day/month and per territory of Pinoytunes and the type of visitors that get to view your ad from Pinoytunes. Pinoytunes does not have an automatic online ad management system report as of now since advertising is just a new feature of the site and is just a supplemental activity of Pinoytunes.

5. How long will my ad run? What is the minimum purchase?

The minimum ad placement period is 6 months. Your ad may run as from 6 months to 2 years. Your ad contract is renewable every 6 months. Ads may be subject to price adjustments every year.

6. How do we pay for our ad placement?

For advertisers in the Philippines, you may pay for your ad by check payment payable to TOUCH MUSIC VIDEO SYSTEMS, INC. or by bank deposit to our Philippine Peso account.

For advertisers outside the Philippines, you may pay by bank deposit to our US Dollar account or credit card through Paypal.

7. How long is the leadtime period for our ad placement to begin?

Once you have made your choice of ad to purchase and have provided Pinoytunes with your ad material (with the actual pixel dimensions and specifications), and have paid for the ad with the corresponding receipt or notice of payment confirmed by Pinoytunes, we shall need 3 to 5 days to test it on our system. Once we have ascertained that there are no problems with your ad material and it is within specifications, we will then upload your material and start your
campaign.

8. I do not have my own IT team, where can I have my ad developed?

Pinoytunes can help you develop your ad material for a minimal fee. Give us a call or email us. You will have to provide us all your guidelines and we will email you back a design created by our graphic designers subject to your approval. This will require a separate agreement stating your approval of the design created for you by Pinoytunes.

9. Do you accept exchange deals and exchange advertising/banner ad arrangements?

Yes we do. It will be subject to Pinoytunes management evaluation. You may send your request for exchange deal or exchange advertising/banner ad via email. The amount of exchange deal will be commensurate to the exact advertising rate of the ad of your choice.

Advertising Terms and Conditions

Pinoytunes.net reserves the right:

1. To accept / reject advertisements in accordance with pinoytunes.net's policies.
2. To not be bound by any condition appearing on any advertising agency's contracts, orders or copy instructions which conflict with pinoytunes.net's policies.
3. To not be responsible for poor reproduction caused by material with wrong specifications.
4. To reject ads promoting sauna and massage parlors, shows and entertainment, those exploiting sex, and those that, in the judgment of pinoytunes.net, may not be morally acceptable.
5. To have all ads and company URLs, product, or brand names be clearly distinguishable form other existing ads on the site so as not to confuse readers.
6. To have all ads clearly identified by the trademark or signature of the advertiser. Materials, in the judgment of pinoytunes.net that look like or resemble editorial pages may be marked "Advertisement" or "advt".
7. To reject or discontinue ads which contain false information or services, those that do not conform to acceptable standards in advertising, or those hat, in the judgment of pinoytunes, may be detrimental to its integrity.
8. Final lay-out and copy are subject to approval of both parties. Only written complaints filed within 30 days after publication shall be entertained.
9. Pinoytunes shall inform the advertiser 2 weeks to 1 month before expiration of it's advertising contract. The advertiser may pre-terminate this agreement by serving pinoytunes.net a written notice at least one (1) month before termination date. The advertiser, however, shall still pay pinoytunes all its past due accounts plus the remaining balance of the total contract price upon termination.
10. Upon expiration of the contract with prior notice given to the advertiser, Pinoytunes reserves the right to remove the advertiser's ad/banner from the site and shift to a "no-graphics" ad space or replace it with a new ad.
11. Payment terms:

            For advertisers in the Philippines, you may pay for your ad by check payment payable to
            TOUCH MUSIC VIDEO SYSTEMS, INC. or by bank deposit to our Philippine Peso account.

            For advertisers outside the Philippines, you may pay by bank deposit to our US Dollar
            account or credit card through Paypal.

    12.  All unpaid accounts will charged with 20% interest per annum plus 3% penalty and
          collection charges per month from the time they become overdue.

    13.  Exchange deal and exchange ad arrangements shall be subject to the same payment
          procedures of check/credit card payments except that the payment shall be "in-kind"
          equal to the rate/amount of their chosen ad.
